I managed to get up in time this morning to see the last of the lunar eclipse. Unfortunately, the peak of the eclipse happened just a few moments before the moon set. If you look at the far right side of the tree in the photo, just by the Capitol dome, you can see the last sliver of the moon shining through. It had a hint of red glow, but the rising sun was obscuring it. I originally looked for it outside, but ended up going to a higher floor in my building in order to see it. Still a beautiful sight.
